uilt as the summer home of Lydia Niblack and her husband Alden Butler Swift in 1925, Le Manoir de Grand Moulin, is the site of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago's 2007 Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens. This lovely French country manor sits on 3.5 acres in Lake Forest, Illinois. Designed by Edwin Hill Clark, architect of many of Chicago's historical sites, the home features a main house, coach house and a guest house with pool.
In the spring of 2007, thirty interior designers and more than eight landscape designers will transform the property into a spectacular Showhouse & Gardens. The Showhouse tour includes the design talents of leading interior and landscape designers, utilizing the finest fabrics, furnishings, and plantings in creative design solutions.
